Are we teaching out children how to be responsible adults? Me personally, I think this little girl did the right thing!! What do you think?
MIDLAND, Pa. -- Midland Police said a 10-year-old girl called 911 on her drunk father.
According to investigators, the girl told police that her father Jay Kopp, 28, was drunk, screaming and breaking things at their home last month.
An officer who responded to the home told Channel 11's Vince Sims that they found Kopp passed out naked on the living room floor when they arrived.
Police said there was broken furniture, glass and 25 empty Coors Light beer cans on the kitchen counter.
Police said the 10-year-old told them that her mother wasn't home and her 1-year-old sister was sleeping in a crib.
After Kopp was released from the hospital, police said he and his wife showed up at the police station looking for the children. Investigators said they kids were placed in the custody of Children and Youth Services.
