School is right around the corner and your children's free time is about to be in short supply. There is still a week or two left to have some father time with your kids. Spending time as a family is important, it is also important to spend time with your kids just to get alone time with them.
The latest trip I took with my children was to the Air and Space Museum in Dulles Virginal. It was pretty exciting! Children love to learn and mine are no exception. Seeing the giant planes, space.shuttle and fighter jets really put a smile on their faces. I love how inquisitive they can be. They want to know everything about every plane in the building and I did my best to answer.
Pictures are worth a thousand words so I tried to capture every aircraft they were interested in. Experiencing museums like the Air and Space Museum is a great example of how a dad can spend quality time with his children. It is fun and educational all in the same package. Other then the price of parking it is also free to get in. The memories made by a simple trip to the museum are priceless! If you live in the DC metro area it would be well worth the drive to the museum.
I almost forgot to mention the SR-71 Blackbird that is Jetfire in Transformers Revenge of the Fallen is at the Air and Space Museum. My children found that pretty cool, they took a picture next to it.
